Today is Christmas Eve. It seems most fitting to write a bit about the only hope we have for true, genuine “health”. Three years ago, the Lord gave me the vision of educating people on how to treat their bodies in the way God intended – through nourishing foods and safe products. Though this is extremely important and can be life-changing, without the knowledge of the One who died for them, this is all for not.
Today, as you finish wrapping presents, sing Christmas carols, spend time with family and friends, it is my hope and prayer that you ponder the love of a Savior who would willingly give up His place in Heaven to be born as a babe. Born as a babe in a stinky manger, to poor, teenage parents and announced to shepherds, the outcasts of society. Why would He do this? Because His love knows no limits and He desires for none to perish, but all to come to the knowledge of Him. He is the Savior of the world and He holds out His nail-pierced hands to each one of us. The best gift ever given was 33 years after that very first Christmas as Jesus willingly laid down His life so that we could know true life.
On this earth, the way to true physical health comes through wise choices in what we put in and on our bodies. But, where it matters for eternity, the way to true spiritual health is only through genuine faith in the Savior King. May He be the One you live for.
“Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. John 17:3″
Merry Christmas!
